On this day, 43 years ago, this iconic picture of The Beatles’ Abbey Road album cover was taken.

Abbey Road was the final album to be recorded but not the last to be released. Though mainly recorded in January of 1969, Let It Be was released in May 1970.

The album featured some of The Beatles’ most classic songs such as ‘Come Together’ and ‘Here Comes The Sun’.

Many have, more than often, tried to imitate this famous photo; including ‘Team USA’.
